I’m not a Bourbon guy. I’m a Scotch man. This is a darn tasty Bourbon though… or perhaps “dang” tasty Bourbon is more appropriate??!
Peach pits, nearly rotten lemon rinds, and Betty Crocker yellow cake mix on the nose and mid-palate. Cherry pits and smoked red plum skins dominate the finish.
It’s a blend of the distillery’s numerous premium casks, and it has an average of 8 years of age on it. It’s my favorite bartender’s favorite whisky of the week.
